The Lebanese Presidency said Monday evening Tuesday that it had received the final version of the draft maritime demarcation agreement with Israel, while a senior Lebanese official expressed his country’s satisfaction with the draft.
The Lebanese Presidency said that Beirut had received the final version of the draft agreement from the US mediator Amos Hochstein.

In this context, chief Lebanese negotiator Elias Bou Saab told Reuters that the final draft meets all of Lebanon’s requirements.
He added that this could soon lead to a “historic agreement.”
On the one hand, Israeli National Security Agency head Eyal Holata said on Tuesday that a “historic” agreement on the demarcation of the maritime border with Lebanon will be reached after the agreement, drafted by the United States, satisfies “all demands” of Israel.
