Liverpool have announced their third deal of the season, signing a young talent to replace right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold.
And Liverpool have introduced their newest player, Scotsman Calvin Ramsey, arriving from Aberdeen, Scotland, at a cost of £4.2m and £2.5m in subsequent additions. Ramsey plays at right-back and will be the first alternative to star Trent Alexander-Arnold at Liverpool and is expected to feature in less “delicate” matches such as cup ties.
Despite his poor age (18), Ramsey made 33 appearances for Aberdeen in the Scottish Premier League and the European Conference League Cup. Ramsey is Liverpool’s third signing this summer after Fulham’s Fabio Carvalho of Portugal and Benfica’s Darwin Nunez of Uruguay.
