The Malian army announced that 4 militants were killed and 17 injured in two separate attacks in the Boni and Tisset regions in the center of the country.
“Two soldiers were killed and seven wounded when an army unit was ambushed by gunmen on Monday,” the army said in a statement.
“Following the strong response from the Malian armed forces, 13 militants were killed and the terrorists arrested,” he said.
He pointed out that the second attack targeted a military area in the Tissit region, where two soldiers were killed and 10 others injured.
