During the second week of March 2023, the King Salman Center for Humanitarian Aid and Relief (KSrelief) project to clear Yemeni lands cleared 1,027 mines laid by Houthi militants in various regions of Yemen, including 6 anti-personnel mines, 203 anti-tank mines and 817 sky munitions. One explosive device and one innovative explosive device. Group<Массам>> cleared one UXO in Aden Governorate, 3 UXOs in the Kataba area of Al Dali Governorate, 25 anti-tank mines and 18 UXOs in the Hayes area of Al Hodeidah Governorate. In Marib governorate, the Masam team managed to detonate one innovative explosive device in the Kharib area and one anti-tank mine. in the Al Wadi area, clearing 125 anti-tank mines and 450 unexploded ordnance in the Marib area, and 6 anti-tank mines in the Raghwan area.
In Shabwa Governorate, the team cleared 4 anti-tank mines in Ain Agency, 6 anti-personnel mines, 23 anti-tank mines and 5 UXO in Asilan Agency, and 3 UXO in Al-Waziya Agency. In Taiz Governorate, the team also cleared 17 anti-tank mines and 185 UXO in the Mokha area, one UXO was cleared in the Makbana area, two anti-tank mines and 6 UXO in the Mawza area, bringing the number of mines cleared since early March to 1,907 , while the number of mines cleared since the beginning of March has reached 1,907. Masam Project – 391,000 and 613 mines randomly laid by Houthi militias across Yemen to take more innocent victims among children, women and the elderly.
