His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, today received HE Mr. Luigi Di Maio, Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Italian Republic at the Ministry’s Headquarters in Riyadh.
At the beginning of the reception, the ministers noted the historical relations between the two countries and two friendly peoples, coinciding with the 90th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, since their beginning dates back to 1932 AD.
The two ministers also reviewed the highlights of the twelfth session of the joint committee between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Italian Republic, held today in the capital Riyadh, with the aim of strengthening joint action and bilateral relations in all areas of cooperation, as well as discussing regional and international developments and efforts, taken against them.
The two ministers touched on the most important investment opportunities presented on the sidelines of the Saudi-Italian Investment Forum, which was held today in Riyadh, in the presence of a number of government agencies and large private sector companies of the two friendly countries, in order to explore investment opportunities in various sectors in the light of the vision Kingdoms until 2030.
