Croatian star Luka Modric has said he wants to continue with his Real Madrid team, noting that talk of a move to Saudi Arabian football club Al-Nasr is just speculation.

Luka Modric’s contract with Real Madrid expires next June and he hopes to renew it soon.

The Croatian star is gearing up with his country for the Euro 2024 qualifiers in Germany against his guest from Wales this Saturday night.

And the Croatian newspaper Vecherni quoted Modric talking about the possibility of moving towards victory and playing again with his former Real Madrid colleague, Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo: “Everyone at Real Madrid asks me the same thing. that I want to stay at Real Madrid. “Madrid. I hope it comes true. Everything else is speculation. I know that you need to write something. I think and hope to stay at Real Madrid.

And press reports have confirmed in recent weeks that Modric has turned down a tempting offer to join Al-Nasr during the upcoming summer transfers.

These reports indicated that the Saudi club had offered the Croatian veteran star an annual salary of 30 million euros, but the star, who won a bronze medal at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar at the expense of Morocco, wants to continue playing in European stadiums.

The Croatian star has made 37 appearances for Real Madrid in various competitions this season, scoring 6 goals and providing 5 assists to his teammates.

It is noteworthy that Luka Modric won 35 titles with Real Madrid, most notably 5 titles in the European Champions League, in addition to winning the Club World Cup 5 times, the European Super Cup 4 times, and also receiving the Golden Ball award in 2018.
