Tunisian President Qais Said has stepped down as Foreign Minister Osman al-Jarandi, the fourth time a minister has been fired from his post since the beginning of this year, the Tunisian chairman said in a statement appointing Nabil Ammar as its head. Decisions are being made at a time when the country is facing deep divisions and a suffocating economic crisis, and Nabil Ammar has held many posts abroad and was ambassador to London from 2012 to 2017.
