New York District Attorney Alvin Bragg, whose office is investigating former President Donald Trump, assured his subordinates that he would not tolerate intimidation attempts and would conduct a full investigation.

According to the newspaper PoliticoAttorney General Bragg sent out an email to his subordinates confirming: “We will not tolerate attempts to intimidate our offices or threats to the rule of law in New York.”

“Our law enforcement partners will ensure that any identified or credible threats to the Attorney General’s staff are fully investigated and appropriate security measures are in place so that all of our 1,600 employees can work safely,” Bragg said.

The prosecutor assured that his subordinates would continue to monitor compliance with the law. In his letter, he did not name Trump by name, but drew attention to “public statements regarding the investigation” that his department is investigating, Politico reported.

Trump previously said he would be arrested on March 21 in connection with an investigation by the New York Attorney General’s office.

He called on his supporters to organize protests. He was supported by representatives of the Republican Party of the United States.

The New York District Attorney’s Office is investigating allegations of financial reporting fraud by the Trump Organization. They are allegedly related to the payment of $ 130,000 to a former pornographic actress for her silence about an affair with Trump.
