Brazilian star Neymar and his companions panicked after his private jet had to make an emergency landing in the northern Brazilian city of Boavista on Monday night due to a windshield problem, local media reported.
The daily newspaper O Globo reported on its website that the plane flying from Miami to Sao Paulo had to land in Boavista around 2:00 am (5:00 GMT) to avoid a “low pressure problem”.
And photos circulated on social media of a smiling Lemar surrounded by fans rejoicing at the star’s unexpected presence in this city, located in the heart of the Amazon, close to the Venezuelan border.
Neymar, who is enjoying his annual holiday after a tough season at Paris Saint-Germain, was accompanied by his girlfriend Bruna Biancardi, his sister Rafaela and many other close people.
And on Monday, the Paris Saint-Germain star posted a photo on his Instagram account of himself and his sister on the airfield in Miami airport before boarding the plane, but has yet to comment on the crash.
