On Friday, North Korea denounced US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for supporting the use of containment measures against North Korea during her visit to South Korea last week.
Pelosi and South Korean National Assembly Speaker Kim Jin Pyo vowed on Thursday to push for the denuclearization of North Korea during a stopover in South Korea after visiting Taiwan.

The agency also said that Pelosi tried to justify the US hostile policy towards North Korea and support the increase in US weapons.
“Pelosi, the worst destroyer of international peace and stability, … provoked the wrath of the Chinese people with her recent trip to Taiwan,” the Korean Central News Agency said in a statement, quoted by Korea News Agency CEO Cho Yong-sam.
