Olympic Green meets Syria in Western Asia. Today

Today, Sunday, Olympic Green kick off their campaign for the West Asian Under-23 Championships against the Syrian team at the King Abdullah Sports Hall in Jeddah.

The Kingdom will host the tournament until November 15 with the participation of six teams, which were divided into two groups, the first included Qatar, Lebanon and Oman, and the second – the teams of Saudi Arabia, Syria and Bahrain.

Bahrain lead Group B after a thrilling 2-1 victory over Syria last Thursday at the opening of the tournament, when Bahraini player Adel Al Rumaihi managed to tip his country’s balance by scoring the winning goal at a minute (90+). 1) to end the match with Bahrain (2-1).

For their part, the Syrian team will come forward with all their technical strength to make up for the loss they suffered at the opening of the tournament at the hands of Bahrain in order to maintain their chances in the competition.

Syria’s Dutch coach Mark Fett is expected to draw on the same group of players that played against Bahrain.
