A civilian lost his life in a terrorist attack in The al-Bab district in northern Syria, which has been demined of Daesh terrorists by the Turks military.
A car a bomb exploded near the Fatima Zahra mosque in al-Bab on On Thursday, Anadolu Agency (AA) reported.
Security forces, who are currently investigating the scene of the attack suspects that it could have been transported out by YPG/PKK terrorists.
The Turkish military eliminated al-Bab terrorists in Operation Euphrates Shield in February 2017.
The YPG/PKK, attacking from the adjacent Syrian regions of Tal Rifaat and Manbij, often target Jarablus, Azaz, Afrin and al-Bab.
Turkey has launched Operation Euphrates Shield on August 24, 2016, to eliminate the menace terrorist on Turkey’s southern borders laid by Daesh and the YPG/PKK.
After his release, most of the inhabitants of al-Bab returned to the city, with son population almost doubled from 130,000 in February 2017 at 250,000 in February 2020.
