President of the United Arab Emirates Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, together with his Indonesian counterpart Joko Widodo, opened a mosque in Indonesia, where Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed arrived to attend the G20 summit in Bali.
The Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Indonesia is a gift from the President of the Emirates to his Indonesian counterpart, a replica of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi. The mosque can accommodate ten thousand worshipers. The open mosque is smaller than the original mosque in the Emirates, which can accommodate about forty thousand worshipers. The mosque was built to represent the message of peace and tolerance that Islam brings.
