Sixth: Morocco, Sudan, Palestine

On behalf of HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Faisal, President of the Arab Football Association, Dr. Raja Al Salami, Secretary General of the Arab Football Federation, welcomed the teams participating in the Arab Youth Football Cup. 20 teams organized by the Arab Football Federation and organized by the Saudi Football Federation. The Medical Commission has started testing the members of the teams participating in the tournament for coronavirus (Covid-19) in accordance with the tournament regulations and medical requirements.

The record was the first version held in Morocco in 1983 and crowned by the Iraqi team after winning the final match against the Saudi Arabia team, who won the next (second) version immediately two years later at the expense of the Algerian team in the capital Algiers in 1985, at that time how the third edition took place in Iraq and was crowned by the Moroccan team in 1989 at the expense of the Iraqi team, and the Moroccan team retained the title in 2011 when it defeated the Saudi Arabian team in the final of the fourth edition, while the fifth edition was held in Jordan in 2012 year, and Tunisia won it after the victory of the Saudi Arabian team, while Senegal became the champion. In the sixth edition, which was held in Saudi Arabia in 2020 after defeating Tunisia in the final, while the seventh edition, which was held in Egypt last year in 2021, saw the Saudi Arabian team after defeating Algeria in the final match.
