The Organization aims to commemorate International Humanitarian Law Day on May 9th of each year, in accordance with its Resolution No. 1/42 adopted at the forty-second session of the Council of Foreign Ministers, held in Kuwait in 2015. emphasize the degree of its deep commitment to the promotion of the principles and norms of international humanitarian law, and in this regard calls on Member States to take advantage of this day to hold activities that contribute to the strengthening of the norms of international humanitarian law.
