Al-Madina learned that the matches played by the player Fahd Al-Mawlid with his youth club in the Saudi Roshan League are completely legal, since the decision to return the player to the stadiums was taken by the competent official body.

This came in response to what is now circulating on social media about the acceptability of the teams that played against Al Shabaab matches and Fahd participated in them.

The Saudi team has taken precautions to remove a player from the team’s final roster after the International Anti-Doping Committee (WADA) appealed the Saudi Arbitration Center’s decision to reduce the player’s fine.

Legal sources expected that the Kass court would uphold the decision of the Saudi Arabian Anti-Doping Control Board to ban the player for 18 months, especially since WADA had previously approved this punishment, and that his appeal was focused on the decision to commute the sentence. According to the information, the decision of CAS will depend on the reasons on which the arbitral tribunal at the arbitration center based its decision to reduce the penalty.

Noting that all arbitrators at the Saudi Arbitration Center are non-local.

In the event that CAS decides to fix the 18-month penalty, the player will serve the remaining period from the decision to reduce the penalty.

Last May, the Saudi Arabian Anti-Doping Committee decided to ban Fahd al-Mawlid for 18 months for the use of prohibited substances, before the Saudi Arabian Arbitration Center decided in August last year to be satisfied with the period spent by the player from punishment.

It is worth noting that the WADA appeal is still pending in the El Kassa court and no decision has yet been made.
