His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates, discussed developments in the Republic of Sudan during a telephone conversation with His Excellency James Cleverley, Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and Development of the United Arab Emirates. Abdullah bin Zayed and James Cleverly discussed ways to stop the military escalation and agreed on the importance of redoubling efforts to resolve the current situation and maintain the security, stability and security of Sudan and its people.
During the telephone conversation, both ministers also stressed the importance of ensuring the protection of civilians and citizens of other countries in Sudan.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan pointed to the need to strengthen the humanitarian response to the consequences of the current situation in Sudan, to find a political settlement and a peaceful solution to this crisis, and to prioritize the highest national interests of brotherly Sudan and its people, stressing that stability, security and security Sudan form the backbone of the region’s security.
