Norwegian national team striker Erling Haaland presented dozens of precious watches to his colleagues in the German Borussia Dortmund team and members of the club’s various teams as valuable parting gifts.
According to German press reports, the total value of the gifts was estimated at around half a million euros before the top scorer moved to Manchester City.
And the German newspaper Bild reported on Friday that Haaland gave all his 33-year-old football teammates, as well as all the technical staff, wristwatches worth up to 15,000 euros.
A widely circulated newspaper also indicated that all members of the medical and assistant staff were also provided with precious watches, each worth 7,000 euros.
And earlier this month, Haaland, 21, agreed to move to Premier League leaders and defending champions in a long-term deal valued at more than 300 million euros.
