Today, HRH Prince Faisal bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Al Jawf region, accepted the torch of the Saudi Games 2022 in a grand ceremony at the ancient Zaabal Castle as part of his promotional tour, featuring a range of athletes, volunteers, youth and girls from the region. The torch was handed over to athlete Rashid bin Ibrahim Al-Eid, and this morning the torch landed at Al-Jawf Regional Airport and headed to Dumat Al-Jandal province. , then Zaabal Castle in the city of Sakaka.
Prince Faisal bin Nawaf stressed that the Kingdom is witnessing great leaps in the sports sector thanks to the unrestricted support of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz and his Crown Prince, support that has made the Kingdom an ideal venue for many international sporting events in the recent period to achieve an ambitious vision of the vision of the Kingdom 2030. He added the importance of the course in uncovering talent and popularizing sports competition in the Kingdom in an ideal sports environment, which contributes to the achievement of many of the goals associated with the Quality of Life Program under the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
The torch was launched from the city of Riyadh last Sunday to reach the Medina region and from there to the Tabuk region, on a trip that aims to cover a distance of 3,500 km across the Kingdom to promote positive values.
