The Limb Prosthetics and Rehabilitation Center in Taiz Province provided various medical services to 352 Yemenis who lost their limbs in July 2022 AD; Supported by the King Salman Relief and Humanitarian Aid Center. The project delivered 695 services, 66% men and 34% women, with displaced persons accounting for 3% and residents 97% of the total number of beneficiaries, with limb prostheses fabricated, fitted and rehabilitated for 186 patients, including delivery. , measurement and maintenance of prosthetic limbs Physiotherapy services ranged from physical therapy sessions to specialized consultations, which were used by 166 patients.
This is a continuation of the humanitarian projects provided by the Kingdom, through the Center, to increase the capacity of the health sector and attempt to alleviate the suffering of the brotherly Yemeni people.
