Today, Friday, the Consulate General of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Sydney issued a storm and flood warning to Queensland citizens and fellows and advised them to follow local authorities’ guidance.
The consulate said via its official Twitter account that “in view of the warnings issued in the state of Queensland, the consulate hopes that all citizens living there will exercise caution and follow the instructions of local authorities. “

It is worth noting that Queensland is currently experiencing severe storms with heavy rain in the center and southeast. from the state, and is likely to lead to flooding.
The state was hit hard by floods in February and March that affected 3,600 homes.
