Real Madrid, the reigning champions, regained their top spot in the Spanish La Liga football league by beating their guest Real Mallorca 4-1 on the fifth stage today Sunday.
Mallorca were in a race for a goal through striker Vedat Muriqui in the 35th minute before the Royal Club responded with four goals from Federico Valverde, Vinicius Junior, Rodrigo and Antonio Rüdiger in the 45th, 72nd, 89th and 90th minutes respectively .
Real Madrid lifted their lead to 15 points at the top of La Liga, two points clear of closest rivals Barcelona, who beat Cadiz four times yesterday Saturday.
On the other hand, Mallorca’s balance sheet is stuck at five points in 13th place.
