Registration for Second Race of Al-Mafarid Race 2023 AD Now Open
The Saudi Arabian Camel Federation has announced the opening of registration for the second race of the first stage of the Al-Mafarid Race 2023 AD. The race is set to take place on Saturday, June 24th. Registration for the second race starts on Sunday, June 18th, until Thursday, 22nd of the same month, in the fields of Taif, Tabuk, Hail and Najran.
Final Stage to be Held on July 15, 2023
The final stage of the Al-Mafarid Race 2023 AD will take place on July 15 next year at Taif Square. The race will consist of 15 stages, with the first-placed Major Bakkar Mafarid and Raisi Kadan Mafarid receiving 100,000 thousand rials and the Championship Cup. The rest of the stages will receive 10,000 rials, while the runner-up will receive 10,000 rials. The Baccarat and Al-Qadan Al-Mafarid races will receive 20,000 rials, and the other races will receive 5,000 rials. The runner-up for the Al-Baqar and Al-Qadan Al-Mafarid races will receive 7,000 rials, while the rest of the races will receive 3,000 rials for fifth place. The Baccarat and Al-Qadan Mafarid races will receive 5,000 rials, and the remaining runs will receive 1,000 rials.
First Race Sees 3471 Camels and 88 Races
The first race of the first stage of the Al-Mafarid Race 2023 AD saw 3471 camels participate in 88 races across the fields of Taif, Tabuk, Hail and Najran. With the opening of registration for the second race, camel racing enthusiasts can look forward to another exciting event in this prestigious and highly anticipated competition.
