The coach of the Saudi Arabia national football team Herve Renard announced the composition of the national team participating in the preparation camp, which will be held in the Spanish city of Alicante from May 31 to June 9 as part of the first stage of the preparation program for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, which begins in november.
At the first stage, the national team will play two friendly matches: the first against Colombia on June 5 and the second against Venezuela on June 9 at the Nueva Condomina stadium in Murcia.
Coach Herve Renard called on 26 players to join the camp, namely: Muhammad Al-Owais, Fawaz Al-Karni, Muhammad Al-Yami, Amin Al-Bukhari, Yasser Al-Shahrani, Ali Al-Bilakhi, Abdul-Ilah Al-Omari, Ziyad Al-Sahafi, Hasan Al-Timbukti, Ali Laghami, Muhammad Al-Buraik, Sultan Al-Ghannam, Salman Al-Faraj, Abdullah Atif, Ali Al-Hassan, Sami Al-Najai, Muhammad Kanu, Nasser Al-Dosari, Salem Al-Dosari, Khaled Al-Ghannam, Hattan Bahbri, Abdul Rahman Gharib, Abdulaziz Al-Bishy, Abdul Rahman Al-Abud, Firas Al-Braykan, Abdullah Al-Hamdan.
The team will leave for the Spanish city of Alicante next Tuesday evening, after the Al-Akhdar players meet in the capital’s Riyadh.
It is noteworthy that the national team is in Group C at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar along with Argentina, Mexico and Poland.
