Sultan of Oman Haytham bin Tariq issued a series of decrees today, Thursday, one of which provided for the reform of the Council of Ministers under his leadership.
According to the decree, Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said was appointed Deputy Prime Minister for Cabinet Affairs. The formation of ministers in the Sultanate also included the appointment of Shihab bin Tariq bin Taimur Al Said as Deputy Prime Minister for Defense Affairs, Di Yazan bin Haytham bin Tariq Al Said as Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, and Khalid bin Hilal bin Saud. Al-Busaidi was the minister of the divan of the royal court, and the first general was appointed Sultan bin Muhammad al-Noamani, the minister of the royal chancellery.
Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi as Interior Minister, Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi as Foreign Minister and Sultan Al Habsi as Finance Minister.
Madiha bint Ahmed bin Nasser al-Shaybaniya was appointed Minister of Education, Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Saeed Al-Saidi as Minister of Justice and Legal Affairs, Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Harassi as Minister of Information, and Salem bin Muhammad bin Saeed Al-Mahruki as Minister of Heritage and Tourism.
