The Ukrainian Border Guard Service said that Russia’s attacks on border units, border patrols and points checks are carried out out with the use of heavy artillery equipment and small arms. Attacks also takes place from Crimea and Belarus.
Border guards said Russian forces were backed by Belarus and a attack had been launched from Crimea, the peninsula occupied by Russia region on The southern flank of Ukraine.
“Attacks on border units, border detachments and points of control are transported out with the use of heavy artillery equipment and small weapons,” the statement from border guards said.
“The work of enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups also checked in.”
The statement was issued as Ukrainian Interior Ministry official reported the fall of the previously government- city outfit of Shchastya, on the eastern front line with a rebel-held enclave.
