Saad Al Shehri: We are now thinking about the final… and we want compensation

Saad Al Shehri, coach of our Olympic team, praised the players’ commitment to reaching the final after they beat Australia 2-0 in the AFC 2022 semi-final at the Pakhtakor stadium in Tashkent on Wednesday. Al Shehri explained: “So far we have played five matches and haven’t conceded a single goal as the players have put in a lot of effort. Now we will be thinking about the next match we hope to win and crown the title and there are slight differences between the two compared to the previous version. We were better prepared in the last edition, but now we want to catch up on the AFC U19 and U23 championships in previous years.”
