Salah hit the headlines in English newspapers

Egypt’s Mohamed Salah, the Liverpool star, topped the covers of English newspapers released yesterday after brilliantly leading his team to victory over Man City in the eleventh round match at Anfield on Sunday night. Premier League for the current season 2022-2023

Salah scored the only goal of the match after skillfully disposing of the last of City’s defenders, receiving the ball from his keeper Alisson, who went alone and then threw the ball over the Manchester City keeper.

In the Sun’s coverage of the match, she said under the headline “City suffer their first defeat because of Salah”: “It’s true that Liverpool are far from being in the Premier League this season (2022-2023) but Salah proved that this is not the case by beating Manchester City.

And the Telegraph newspaper headlined its coverage of the match with the words: “Salah capitalizes on Cancelo’s mistake, it’s Anfield after the hosts managed to seize the opportunity to beat Manchester City.”

And the British newspaper The Independent reported in a report titled “Salah defeats Ederson”: “The Brazilian goalkeeper was able to prevent Salah’s goal before the latter repeated his attempt and scored the winning goal in the 76th minute.”

While the Daily Mail spoke of the pharaoh’s brilliance in their match report: “Salah’s brilliant end brings the Reds victory at Anfield, saying: ‘In the 73rd minute, Jurgen Klopp prepared to make a series of changes, number 11 was suspended, the pharaoh was rushing, his face was like thunder. “He was in such a dangerous and explosive state, why the hell was he the one who got out?”
