Salman Relief launches housing materials project in Pakistan.

The King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid yesterday launched a project to provide shelter materials and winter bags to the most vulnerable families affected by the floods in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan by 2023. Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed Al, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques of the Republic of Pakistan, attended the opening. Maliki and the head of the Pakistan National Disaster Management Authority, Lieutenant General Inam Haider Malak, and a number of officials at the headquarters of the Royal Embassy in the capital Islamabad.

The project will distribute 15,000 bags of 190 tons of basic materials for housing construction, benefiting 175,000 people or 15,000 families in eight affected areas.

Ambassador Nawaf Al-Maliki stated that this project is being carried out in pursuance of the instructions of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Highness the Crown Prince, God bless them, and in continuation of the Kingdom’s support to the brothers in Pakistan since the beginning of the floods in the past year, adding that this assistance represents the desire of wise leadership to stand together with the brotherly Pakistani people in various crises and hardships.

For his part, the head of the National Disaster Management Authority of Pakistan, Lieutenant General Inam Haider Malak, once again expressed his gratitude and appreciation on his own behalf and on behalf of the Government of Pakistan to the leadership and the Government of the Kingdom for the constant humanitarian support. he is giving to those affected in Pakistan, pointing out that this support comes at the right time as the Pakistani authorities continue the process of rebuilding and rebuilding areas hit by the recent floods that swept across the country.

Inaam Haider praised the Center’s humanitarian projects and assistance programs in his country, stating that the Center’s teams are on the ground along with the Pakistani government teams and have extensive experience in dealing with the needs of the victims, and for this reason, the Center’s assistance programs are compatible with local needs. These efforts are carried out as part of the desire of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through the King Salman Relief Center to support humanitarian work in affected and affected countries and people around the world, and contribute to alleviating the suffering of those in need, wherever they are.
