The English press is reporting recently disclosed talks between Wolverhampton Wolves and Nuno Santo, the current coach of Al Ittihad, which are still causing concern among federal fans over the future of the Portuguese coach with the dean.

Although Santo tried to calm fans’ concerns after his team’s last match against Al Wahda, when he responded to English messages saying he didn’t like dealing with rumours.

For his part, Ahmed Kaaki, Vice President of Al Ittihad Club, confirmed in a statement to Action with Waleed that the coach was continuing his work, but returned and said: “Football is all-inclusive, adding that the coach spoke to us and told us that if something happened, he would talk “directly with the federal administration.” professional coaches in such circumstances do not show up until the final moments of the signing, especially since more than one English newspaper has confirmed that there are serious talks about the return of Santo to Wolverhampton, who had previously achieved positive results in the previous period.

British site Athletic has been at the forefront of English papers that have reported on talks between Wolverhampton and Santo, especially after the English club dropped their former Portuguese manager Bruno Lagg earlier this month due to poor results. and the team nicknamed “The Wolves” dropped to eighteenth (Relegation’s first position) in the Premier League with 6 points from 9 matches.

According to a British website, Santo became favorites to take charge of Wolverhampton after former Sevilla manager Julen Lopetegui turned down an offer from England.

The medical and eminent relationship between Santo and the Wolverhampton administration would also play a role in resolving negotiations between them.

The British newspaper Daily Mail also touched on the same topic and confirmed that the Portuguese coach wants to return to Europe.

And she continued: “Nuno Santo, like Lopetegui, is owned by the Portuguese business agent Nuno Mendez, who has a strong relationship with Wolves CEO Jeff Shea.”

“But at this stage it is not known if Santo will have enough enthusiasm to return and take charge of Wolverhampton, and the team is in such a late position.”
