Saudi Railways Sar has announced its operational plan to be implemented with the start of the 2022 FIFA World Cup with the goal of achieving the highest level of support and public support for the first Saudi football team to compete in the tournament.
SAR explained that more additional trips with a capacity of 114,000 seats will be allocated to national team fans on national team matchdays and will operate from Riyadh, Dammam and Abqaiq towards Hofuf and vice versa. with the opportunity to take advantage of discounts up to 50% when booking in advance.
SAR indicated that its flights from Dammam, Abqaiq and Riyadh to Al Hofuf have a capacity of 58,958 seats, while flights from Al Hofuf to Riyadh, Abqaiq and Dammam have a capacity of 55,172 seats.
The first SAR flights will start on Tuesday, November 22, as four return flights are allocated after the first match between Saudi Arabia and their Argentinian counterpart, in addition to the launch of four flights from Dammam and Riyadh to Hofuf, followed by two return flights. on Saturday, November 26, to transport fans supporting the team in front of its Polish counterpart. Complete the operation plan by Thursday, November 30, the third match between the Saudi Arabian national team and its Mexican counterpart, for which SAR has allocated six flights. from Dammam and Riyadh to Hofuf, which will be reinforced by five return flights on the same day.
