Today, King Abdulaziz University has announced the first place winners of the Saudi Universities Chess Championship organized by the Saudi Universities Sports Federation in its 13th season. which hosted the university in the sports village; In the presence of the Vice President for Education, Dr. Adel bin Muhammad Abu Zinad, and the President of the Saudi University Sports Federation, Dr. Khaled Al-Museini.
First place was taken by Islamic University student Ahmed Al-Rehaili, second place was taken by student Imad Hayat from King Saud University, and student Abdulaziz Al-Khuraiji from King Abdulaziz University came in third.
The tournament was attended by 219 male and female students, 147 male students representing 30 universities in the male student championship competition, and 72 female students representing 19 universities participated in the female student championship.
