Italian cyclist Jonathan Milan of Team Bahrain Winner took first place in the second leg of the Saudi Tour 2023, which started today, from Winter Park to Sigliat Falls, over 184km, the longest five-leg race organized by the Ministry of Sports in collaboration with Saudi Arabia Cycling Federation, accredited by the UCI International Federation.
Jonathan surpassed the 106 competitors in the second leg, crossing the line in 4 hours 53 minutes 35 seconds. Second place was taken by Dutch cyclist Dylan Gruenewegen of the Jaico Al-Ula team, who took first place in the first leg competition, and third place was taken by the Dutch Cess Paul from Team Istana, Kazakhstan.
On the other hand, the third stage of the Saudi Tour 2023 competition starts tomorrow, from the Manshiya railway station to Abu Rak, with a length of 159.5 km.
Notably, the Kingdom has hosted the Saudi Cycling Tour for three editions, starting with the capital Riyadh in 2020 AD and Al Ula Province for two years, respectively, in 2022 and 2023 AD.
