The Chinese city of Shanghai recorded 13 new deaths from COVID-19 on May 6, up from 12 a day earlier, the local government said in a statement today.
The city also recorded 3,961 new local asymptomatic coronavirus infections on May 6, up from 4,024 the day before.
The number of confirmed infections with symptoms reached 253, up from 245 the previous day.
