The General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council signed a memorandum of understanding with the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Studies yesterday at the center’s headquarters in the UAE capital Abu Dhabi.
The General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council was represented at the signing by the Assistant Secretary for Legislative and Legal Affairs, Counselor Sultan bin Nasser Al Suwaidi, and the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research, Acting Director of the Public Works Sector, Dr. Ibtisam. bint Ali al-Tunayji in the presence of a number of officials and specialists from both sides.
During the signing, a brief presentation of the nature of the work and contribution of the Center was made, and ways to expand joint cooperation between the General Secretariat of the Cooperation Council and the Center were discussed. The meeting ended with an introductory tour of the main facilities of the center, such as the library and the media monitoring department.
The signing of this memorandum takes place within the framework of the initiatives of the General Secretariat, based on the main objectives of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf in the promotion and support of scientific and technical research in all fields.
