Six migrants, including a child, have died in a boat that sank off the coast of Lebanon, where the army is still trying to find survivors after rescuing about fifty people. And irregular migration has increased by sea from Lebanon, which is experiencing an unprecedented economic crisis, but migration boat wrecks are rare. The boat left the Qalamoun area, south of Tripoli, northern Lebanon’s largest city, with about 60 people on Saturday. on board, whose nationality is not specified.

The Lebanese army yesterday recovered the bodies of five migrants after a girl’s body was discovered on Saturday, bringing the total death toll to six, according to preliminary figures from the Lebanese News Agency. According to the latest official figures, 48 ​​people have been rescued so far.
