A Pakistani army soldier was killed during a shootout with a terrorist group in Dera Ismail Khan in northwestern Pakistan.
A statement released today by the Army’s media department said the incident occurred while a military unit was conducting a sweep operation in the Deira Ismail Khan area and it was attacked by a terrorist group.
He added that the military unit continues combing operations to clear the area from the presence of terrorist elements.
