Somali Prime Minister Hamza Abdi today announced the formation of his new government, which includes 25 ministers, as well as 26 state ministers and 25 deputy ministers.
The Prime Minister of Somalia said at a press conference that the formation of the Somali government took place after intensive consultations that lasted more than a month.
Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mahmoud appointed Berry as prime minister in mid-June, and the Somali People’s Assembly voted confidence in the prime minister on the 25th of the same month.
