Anti-NATO demonstrations took place on Saturday evening in the Spanish cities of Pamplona in the autonomous region of Navarra and Vitoria-Gasteiz in the Basque Country, as the organizers of the demonstrations told a TASS correspondent.
The organizers noted that hundreds of participants joined the marches, which ended without incident. These marches were held under the slogan “Against NATO … stop the war and capitalist barbarism.”
They also announced a “coup d’état promoted by the West through Europe Square”.
The demonstrators explained that the conflict in Ukraine is the result of “the growing presence of NATO on Ukrainian soil.”
In this regard, the organizers of the actions opposed “NATO and its territorial expansion”, against the “economic war” and the supply of weapons to Kyiv.
At rallies, they also expressed their disagreement with the “restriction of civil and political rights.”
