Spanish “Marka”: “Al-Ittihad” and “Al-Hilal” are in talks with Messi

Spanish newspaper Marca reported: Al-Ittihad and Al-Hilal are actively competing to settle the deal for the legendary Messi, even offering an amount of money that exceeds the amount Cristiano Ronaldo would receive if he wins to convince the Argentine star to sign a contract. A Spanish newspaper report indicated that Al-Hilal was the first to negotiate with Ronaldo, but due to being prevented from registering, he backed out of the deal, entered Al-Nasr and managed to get Ronaldo’s signature.

Marca newspaper pointed out that Al Ittihad and Al Hilal are banned from registering during the current winter transfers and will have to wait until next summer player registration period to finalize the Messi deal.
