The first matches of the tournament begin with a meeting between the Kuwaiti-Kuwaiti team, “Asia Champion”, and the Brazilian team Taobati, “Champion of South and Central America”, in Group C. The first group, while Barcelona, ”European Champions” meet the team of Minestros , “Champions of North America and the Caribbean” at 16:00 in the fourth group.

This is the 15th edition of the tournament hosted by the Kingdom and has the largest number of participating teams in the history of the tournament since its launch in 1997.
