Today, Inter Milan, the Coppa Italia winner, and AC Milan, the league champion, will meet at the King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh for the Italian Super Cup. This is the second tournament in a few days that Riyadh will host after it hosted the Spanish Super Cup and Barcelona won it last Sunday at the expense of Real Madrid.
Jeddah hosted the Italian Super Cup final in 2018 when Juventus won the title at the expense of Milan with a clean goal, and in the 2019 edition in Riyadh, Lazio won the title against Juventus with a score of 3:1.
Juventus leads the list of teams that have won the Italian Super Cup most often with 9 titles, followed by Milan with 7 titles, followed by Inter with 6 titles and Lazio with 5 titles.
Milan won the title in the first edition in 1988 at the expense of Sampdoria, while Inter won the title in the last edition in 2021 after beating Juventus.
