A Turkish charity organized an iftar for orphans in Azaz neighborhood of Aleppo in War-torn Syria on Occasion of International Orphans Day.
The Iftar was organized by the Istanbul-based Damascus Orphans Association out relief efforts in Syria for nearly 200 children who Orphaned by the attacks of The Assad regime and its supporters.
Psychological counselor Abeer Abdel-Qail. who volunteers in the region Anadolu Agency (AA) that they wanted To collect Syrian orphans living in Iftar tents to remind them that they are not alone.

The International Day of Orphans was declared at the Fifth International Conference of non-governmental organizations of Contract of the Islamic world in Istanbul in 2013 in partnership with Humanitarian Relief Foundation and Organization of Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
