The press secretary of the Committee for Emergency Situations and Civil Defense of Tajikistan, Umida Yusufi, said that a magnitude 4.0 earthquake struck early on Saturday morning.
She said: “Today at 05:01 Saturday morning local time, a magnitude 4 earthquake occurred in Tajikistan.”
It added that the epicenter of the earthquake was located 260 km southeast of the capital Dushanbe.
And she continued: “In Dushanbe, the magnitude of the earthquake was two points, there were no victims or injured.”
