Today, a telephone conversation took place between Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Algerian President Abdel Majid Tabun.
The Palestinian news agency said that during the conversation, they discussed the latest developments in the Palestinian territories, especially in Jerusalem, and Israel’s dangerous escalation against the Palestinian people and their holy places, especially at the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
President Abbas thanked President Tebboun for Algeria’s stand in support of the Palestinian people and their just cause at all levels, and for President Tebboun’s efforts to mobilize international support to end Israeli aggression, especially in Jerusalem and the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, efforts that receive all gratitude and appreciation from our Palestinian people, who love and appreciate Algeria and its people very much.
The President commended the outstanding efforts made and undertaken by Algeria, under the direct leadership of His Excellency President Tebbun, to achieve Palestinian reconciliation by receiving Palestinian delegations from all factions on the basis of unified Palestinian ranks and the adoption of resolutions by all. international legitimacy.
President Abbas informed President Tebbun of the seriousness of the Israeli aggression against the people in the Palestinian territories, which has claimed the lives of dozens of martyrs of our people and hundreds of wounded since the beginning of the blessed month of Ramadan, and of the continuation of his attack, especially the invasion of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, in flagrant violation of the historical and legal situation confirming the need to coordinate the entry of non-Muslim foreign visitors through Islamic donations, as well as attacks by Jewish extremists against citizens and their property under the protection of the occupying army, actions that are unacceptable and require decisive solutions.
The President mentioned the contacts he is making with Arab and international parties to stop the Israeli escalation and ensure the protection of the Palestinian people.
For his part, President Abdelmajid Tebboun reaffirmed Algeria’s firm stance in support of the Palestinian people and their cause, which lives in the hearts of the Algerians.
The President of Algeria referred to the contacts that Algeria is making to stop the Israeli aggression against Jerusalem, Al-Aqsa and the Palestinian territories, stressing that Algeria will continue to make its efforts and support the Palestinian people to protect their legitimate rights to freedom and independence. and will continue to work towards achieving Palestinian unity.
