Tencent, the renowned gaming company, has acquired a majority stake in Techland, the studio behind the popular Dying Light games. The CEO of Techland, Pawel Marchewka, confirmed the news in a blog post, assuring fans that he will remain in his position and the team will maintain ownership of their intellectual properties.

Moving forward with the partnership, Marchewka stated that Tencent’s involvement will propel their game development vision forward, given the company’s successful collaborations with other major gaming studios.
