The ages follows 11bit’s motto: entertainment with depth and combines building a foundation with lifechanging decisions and exploring the different paths that arise from them. The hostile planet where Jan crashlanded is moving towards a gigantic sun, causing radiation levels to skyrocket. In a desperate race against time, Jan must mine the local Rapidium crystals with which he can create different versions of himself: the ‘Alters’.

Teamwork and developing expertise in different areas are essential in the game’s neverending operations center. As Jan chooses different branches in his life story when creating his alters, they each acquire unique skills necessary not only for maintaining the base, but also for cooking, crafting tools for surface exploration, or gathering essential resources .

However, the changes involve more than just human resources. They are thinking beings with their own emotions, problems, goals and sometimes doubts about the meaning of their own existence. Despite their differences, their common goal is to escape, according to Jan’s motto: “I can only do this with us.”
