The Saudi Arabia Badminton Federation signed a memorandum of understanding with its Thai counterpart on the sidelines of the Badminton International Federation General Assembly, which was recently held in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand.
The memorandum was signed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Badminton Federation Muqrin Al Muqrin with a member of the International Olympic Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Thai Federation “Patma Konyang” in the presence of His Highness Prince Fahd bin Jalawi bin Abdulaziz, Vice President of the Olympic and Paralympic Committee of Saudi Arabia and President Badminton International Federation Paul Eric.
The memorandum was concluded as part of the desire of the Badminton Federation to exchange experience in various fields, strengthen ties and relations with the Federation of Thailand and mutually benefit from the potential of both parties in the interests of the prosperity and development of the game.
It is noteworthy that the Saudi Arabia Badminton Federation won the award as the world’s best federation in the category of participation during the Badminton International Federation awards ceremony, which was held recently in Bangkok on the sidelines of the Badminton International Federation General Assembly. a game involving 196 member states of the Federation.
