His Highness the Crown Prince’s Camel Festival 2022 will kick off on July 23 at Taif Camel Square, with 44 days of competition between participants from across the Gulf and beyond.
In the preliminary stage, the race takes place in several categories: Al-Mafared, Al-Haqaik, Al-Lakaya, Al-Jaz, Al-Tayana, Al-Khail, Al-Zamoul and the Marathon category. On competition days.
On the other hand, the prizes allocated to the festival are the largest in terms of value at the sport level in the Kingdom, which is valued at more than 56 million rials, including the crown prince’s prize of one million rials, and the distance runs ranged from 2 to 6 kilometers.
Notably, the festival, which is held in the oldest camel fields in the Kingdom and opened in 1406 AH, is an important place for camel owners and lovers and a breeding ground for original heritage.
