Today, the Islamic Military Coalition against Terrorism hosted a delegation of students and members of the National Defense Tenth Year Steering Committee from the National Defense College in the United Arab Emirates at its headquarters in Riyadh. The delegation heard a briefing on the most important work of the Islamic Coalition in various areas of combating terrorism and the strategies on which it is based, in implementing the initiatives of the Coalition related to combating terrorism, its role in combating extremist ideology and coordinating all efforts. counter terrorist tendencies through intellectual and media initiatives and combating terrorism and military financing, in addition to its efforts in the field of coordination and intensification of the efforts of the coalition member states.
The Responsible Secretary General of the Islamic Coalition, Major General Pilot Mohammed bin Said Al-Maghidi, during a meeting with the arriving delegation and answering their questions, indicated that the Islamic Coalition is based on the values of legality, independence, coordination, participation and the desire to ensure that all actions and the efforts of the coalition countries in the fight against terrorism were consistent with international rules, norms and laws.
After that, the delegation visited the headquarters of the Islamic Coalition and got acquainted with the most important publications regarding the areas of combating terrorism, as well as the latest developments and events related to terrorist groups and events around the world, and the monitoring and follow-up on which the Coalition is based in this respect.
It is noteworthy that this visit is part of the joint work of the Islamic Coalition and the member states, which will strengthen the partnership in the exchange of experience in everything that will eradicate the scourge of terrorism.
